From July 1 Sibirtelecom launches new services TVist, Deferred Viewing and Network Video Recorder on TV channels Discovery Channel, Animal Planet, Discovery Science, Discovery World and Travel&Living.

ÅÒÊ, a 100% subsidiary of Sibirtelecom OJSC, offers its subscribers, legal entities, the service of “Access to VPN networks”. The new service makes it possible to expand the local network of the organization and to make access to it more flexible without affecting the security.

Sibnet.ru, the content-portal of Sibirtelecom OJSC, has turned two years on June 21, 2009. In these two years Sibnet.ru has become one of the leaders among regional portals (All-Russian rating). Today Sibnet.ru ranks third among regional portals in Russia and the second position in Siberia according to the traffic.

An annual general meeting of shareholders of Sibirtelecom OJSC, the biggest telecom operator in the Siberian Federal District took place on June 20, 2009 in Novosibirsk. It was attended by shareholders that possess in the aggregate 68,244% of voting (equity) shares.

As of June 15, 2009, the number of broadband access subscribers to Webstream exceeded 500,000 thousand people. During the whole week, Sibirtelecom arranged free-of-charge connection of socially significant institutions to Internet in all regions of the Siberian Federal District within the “Half-A-Million Friends” action.

Sibirtelecom OJSC - a telecommunication operator in the Siberian Federal District, submits the audited consolidated financial statements for 2008 prepared in accordance with international financing reporting standards (IFRS). The financial statements for 2008 were audited by KPMG CJSC.

On June 15, 2009, in the city of Barnaul, the head of Altai Region Administration, Mr. Alexander Karpin and Sibirtelecom General Director, Mr. Ivan Dadykin, signed an agreement on interaction and cooperation. As of June 15, 2009, the number of broadband access subscribers to Webstream reached 500,000 thousand people. During the current year Sibirtelecom increased the number of broadband access subscribers by 22%; as of January 01, 2009 the number of subscribers was 411 thousand people. The Company’s share on the Internet-access market of Siberia is 57%.

On June 15, 2009 Sibirtelecom OJSC introduced updated tariffs for voice data transfer service. The Company changed tariffs with respect to most popular directions by implementing uniform tariffing on fixed-line phones’ calls when calling cellular subscribers of SFO.

On June 15, 2009, Sibirtelecom OJSC and NVision Group, the leading Russian system integrator and IT-solutions supplier, completed a conjoint project on the creation of a uniform centralized broadband access monitoring system of Sibirtelecom OJSC.

Sibirtelecom has been recognized the winner in the contest for rendering VPN data transmission services to Territorial Fund for Obligatory Medical Insurance in Altai region.

On June 10, 2009 the Board of Directors of Sibirtelecom OJSC approved Decisions to issue securities of Sibirtelecom OJSC of three series of exchange-traded bonds and the Securities Prospectus.

From the beginning of June Sibirtelecom placed into commercial operation voice network systems based on NGN-generation technology in 6 cities of Siberia – Abakan, Kemerovo, Krasnoyarsk, Chita, Barnaul and Tomsk.

YTC put into commercial operation some 3G networks of the IMT-MC 450 (ÒÌ Wellcom) standard in Lesosibirsk and Yeniseisk.

There will be a ceremony of closing of the last crossbar ASC on June 10, 2009 in Bratsk.
