On January 1, 2010 Sibirtelecom introduces a new Unlimited+ tariff plan.

Today at the opening ceremony of Multifunctional Center for the Organization of Providing State and Municipal Services in the Novosibirsk Region (MFC), Governor Viktor Tolokonsky expressed gratitude to the employees of Sibirtelecom Company for the fruitful cooperation in the performance of the administrative reform and for the full range of telecommunication services provided by the MFC.

Sibirtelecom OJSC – operator of telecommunication services in Siberian Federal District presents its unaudited consolidated interim financial statements for nine months ended September 30, 2009 that were made in compliance with international financial reporting standards (IFRS).

Sibirtelecom has completed a large-scale project for upgrading the equipment of the urban telephone network in the city of Biysk (Altai Krai), which made it possible to switch citizens to the state-of-the-art digital telephone exchanges.

At the end of December Sibirtelecom puts into commercial service the optical backhaul network (DWDM) in the city of Omsk.

On November 30, it was 7 years since the telecommunication operators of the Siberian region incorporated to Sibirtelcom interregional company.

In 2009 Sibirtelecom invested over 5 mln rubles in purchasing the Russian equipment to have telecommunication projects implemented in the Republic of Khakassia.

By the end of 2009 Sibirtelecom will install Russian equipment at the total cost of over 22 mln rubles. These investments will be used for implementing projects of connection and provision of telecommunication services in the Priangarye rural areas.

First Deputy General Director of Sibirtelcom OJSC Aleksander Sheifer was elected the President of Association of Graduates of Novosibirsk Electrotechnical Institute of Communications-Siberian State University of Telecommunications and Informatics (SSUTI).

In 2009 Sibirtelecom allocated 20 mln rubles for the purchase of equipment produced in Russia to implement telecommunication projects in the Republic of Buryatia.

Sibirtelecom Company has almost completed the installation of the switching equipment produced by IskraUralTEL Ural Company on the communication network in the city of Novoaltaisk, Altai Krai. By the end of this year, three more digital exchanges A320 with a total capacity of about 200 numbers will be installed.

On January 1, 2010 Sibirtelecom OJSC will start providing telephony and broad-band Internet access services to subscribers of its 100% subsidiary companies located in the Irkutsk region: ATS-32 CJSC and ATS-41 CJSC. All services will be provided under Sibirtelecom and Webstream brands.

Early November, the annual Novosibirsk Brand contest declared the results for organizations and institutions in the sphere of information technologies. Sibirtelcom won in the nomination “For Effective Implementation of Advanced Information Technologies”.

On November 10, Viktor Tolokonsky, Governor of Novosibirsk region, and Ivan Dadykin, General Director of Sibirtelecom OJSC, made an agreement on interaction and cooperation in providing safe operation and stable development of infotelecommunication infrastructure in Novosibirsk region.

On November 2009, Sibirtelecom announced the commercial launch of the Company’s single call-center.

Sibirtelecom OJSC – operator of telecommunication services in Siberian Federal District, provides its financial statements for nine months of 2009 that were made in compliance with Russian Accounting Standards (RAS).

On November 2, 2009, Leonid Polezhaev, Governor of Omsk Region and Ivan Dadykin, General Director of Sibirtelecom OJSC signed an Agreement on Interaction and Cooperation.

On October 26, 2009 Sibirtelecom OJSC fulfilled its obligations regarding offer on credit notes (Credit Linked Notes, CLN).

Sibirtelecom OJSC acted as a partner in providing communication services to one of the largest Lexus dealer centers in Russia, it will be opened in December 2009 in Krasnoyark. The premium brand dealer was provided with a broad-band access to Internet at the speed of up to 100 Mb/s. Besides, the Company organized the modern digital telephone connection.

By the end of 2009 Sibirtelecom will establish the home equipment produced by Enterprise Eltex LLC, Intercross LLC, Angstrem-Telecom CJSC, and YuryevPolsky Plant Promsvyaz CJSC with the total value over 25 mln rubles.
